Our By Laws
Our By Laws
Expectations
These are the expectations we hold all members of TAC. While there is no requirement for strict adherence, bending them too far or too often will violate the expectation.
" Good attitude about Airsoft and sportsmanship.
" Open communication.
" No horseplay or irresponsible pranks.
" Personal relationships do not interfere with the team.
" Clean language. You represent TAC at games, be professional.
" All weapons are to be secured in boxes, carrying cases, or bags while off the battlefield.
" Drinking liquor or any types of alcohol a day before and/or during the competition is strictly prohibited.
"Always respect the team leader's decisions and obediently follow orders that have been given to you.
" You can only make suggestions during the meeting or if you are asked to during the competition.
Responsibilities
These are strict rules that we expect each member to take responsibility for following. These are necessary in order to maintain good order and professionalism within the team. Inability to abide by the aforementioned laws means that you are not a qualified TAC member.
" Maintain your weapon and gear in top shape, this includes having your batteries charged before games and having spares on hand if needed. Don't forget to bring your own BBs.
" Treat all Airsoft guns like real steel guns.
" Presentable in uniform at TAC games.
" Always "on duty" when officially present at a game.
" Honesty
" To maintain standard safety rules and ensure that others do the same.
" Respect other members property. Always ask to see or borrow other members equipment. If you borrow an item from another member or from the Units Store return it in the same condition as you received it in. If the item is damaged in any way you have just purchased that item.
"Respect other members personal beliefs.
"Always watch out for fellow members safety. We are a family and we want to make sure everyone is safe and doing well. If a member is potentially going to be harmed, you need to speak up.
" Pay the monthly dues in time and other event contributions.
Firearms Code of Conduct
Treating your Airsoft gun like real steel is fairly straightforward.
The guidelines for this are:
" Obey all laws regarding real steel. This means no firing on or over roads, within 150 feet of a campground or facility, and no firing from or at vehicles (that are not part of the game of course!)
" Do not point your weapon at anyone unless you intend to fire it at them. When intending to fire at anyone, make sure you are doing it responsibly (ie. Part of the game and not as a joke, prank, or for fun, and making sure they are giving you permission to fire at them).
" Only firing at intended targets, not spraying fire wildly, at in animate objects or wildlife, etc.
" Keep your gun muzzled (safety tip on) when not in use, and when carrying your weapon making sure that it is not pointed at anyone else or in a direction that could accidentally point it at someone else (like carrying it pointed at head level)
" Do not abuse your gun. Keep it clean, keep it tidy, and most of all make sure it is secure.
